This was a team project, we each were assigned to a specific job, however, we still melded all our ideas and concepts together so we could have a more unified campaign. This tested our skills in communication, collaboration, and teamwork.

For this concept I have chosen an already existing campaign “You Can Be Anything” from Barbie - Mattel company. They want girls to realize their potential and feel empowered. The colors and theme were already set for me, Barbie’s signature pink color and the logo. I selected a 1/18 1968 Fiat as my car model. It's rounded form makes it appear welcoming and the decal design further I used for promotional items: posters, billboards, and clothing.
School Assistant App
The School Assistant application was created to help manage college student’s and class courses Students will be able to view classes, set plans, and keep track of their studies. School already is stressful as it is, having an application that appears welcoming and user-friendly would be a great benefit.
Bath & Body Works Gift Box
This is package design was meant for Bath and Body work’s Japanese Cherry Blossom collection. They do not actually have a real gift box type of packaging but use gift bags. For the concept, I wanted to create a unique design to help promote their product. This is mainly advertised to women and young girls.
Art Daily Magazine
The purpose of the magazine is to highlight special events, showcase artist’s work, and advertise different museums. For this magazine, it was meant to shine a spotlight on African American artists. The magazine is called Art Daily and the museum I have chosen was the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and my concept for it was to promote Black History Month showcasing works from skillful African American artists.
Featured artists for the magazine were: Kehinde Wiley, Derrick Adams, and Esther Mahlangu.
Drowsy Driving Outdoor Campaign
This was an outdoor guerrilla advertising campaign that meant to focus on the dangers of drowsy driving for the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.
My concept was to create an outdoor billboard for highways for drivers to see. It would appear as a mini story-telling slide-show, showing the driver what happens when driving sleepy on the road. I also wanted to promote the campaign using coffee cups, and posters.
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Brochure
This is a brochure for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. It tells of current events and activities at the museum. This was targeted towards people of all ages, using the color scheme from the VMFA’s brand identity to help make the tri-fold pop with color.
OhGee! Pattern Design
This was a part of a pattern design project, creating unique patterns for iPhone cases, iPad cases, and even laptop bags. I looked into Mongolian patterns in an ogee style to make the pattern stand out from the rest.
My pattern consists mainly of the primary colors: Red, Blue, and Yellow but I altered them slightly so the Red is more of a Magenta and the Blue Cyan and Yellow is a golden color. I also made different color variations of the pattern to keep it more interesting to the fit the mood of my target audience. My target audience is between the ages of 15 - up, but the can be used by anyone.
